We can personalise your menu covers with your very own artwork. We will create the artwork plate that you require to personalise your menu covers, this attracts a small one off fee. Once your artwork plate has been created you can use it in the future, on any other restaurant menu product, free of charge. We retain all customer artwork plates so that you incur no artwork cost for re-orders of menu cover products in the future.

Please read the following menu holder artwork information carefully. Generally, this information applies to all of our menu holder ranges. We will always advise you if you are uncertain about any aspect of your menu holder artwork or the best process to use for the particular menu holder that you require.
Hot foil printing, sometimes also known as foil blocking or hot foil blocking is a dry printing process in which the image is transferred to the surface to be printed by a combination of heat and pressure.
We can hot foil your artwork onto your restaurant menu covers (whether it’s a logo, shapes or lettering) in silver, gold, white, black or red (other colours can be sourced should you require). This process does have certain limitations; it is sometimes tricky to reproduce very fine line detail and also on the other hand extremely large areas can also be problematic. We will always assess your menu holder artwork before we start any process and advise you accordingly.
Embossing is the process of creating a three-dimensional, or raised and indented, image or design in the material. It is typically accomplished with a combination of heat and pressure.
Embossed menu covers always look fantastic. They’re classy, simple and effective. The only real limitation with this process of menu holder personalisation is the actual type of menu holders that you wish to emboss. Some of our range such as the paper-over-board menu holders will not emboss. This process of menu holder personalisation is best suited to the stitched hide menu holders, the classic menu holders and other leather or fabric types of menu holder.
This printing process is also called silk screening. In brief this is where ink is transferred through a screen onto the menu cover surface to be personalised. An emulsion or stencil is used to block out the negative or non-printed areas of the screen.
We can screen print onto just about any of our menu covers as per your artwork. We can match Pantone colours and print multiple coloured screens to make up your design. This technique of menu holder personalisation can be extremely effective. Please do not hesitate to contact our Menu Holder Team. *Please note, the cost of screen print is per colour and varies depending on your artwork. Please contact Smart Menu Covers for more information.
