Frequently Asked Questions
Hatco Rapide Cuisine Countertop Induction Hob IRNG-PC1-30 FAQs
Which commercial operations is the Hatco Rapide Cuisine induction hob designed for?
The Hatco IRNG-PC1-30 is commercial cooking equipment for back-of-house kitchens and display-cooking stations such as omelette bars and buffets. Its heavy-duty, single-zone format suits operations that need fast induction cooking and repeatable results from one countertop hob.
How many cooking zones does the Hatco Rapide Cuisine induction hob have?
It has 1 induction hob and 1 cooking plate, making it a single-zone induction hob. This focused layout is useful for an individual pan, a dedicated menu task or an additional high-output cooking station alongside other equipment.
How durable is the Hatco Rapide Cuisine countertop induction hob?
The hob combines heavy-gauge stainless steel housing with side-impact protection around the top. Its patterned glass-ceramic cooking surface is designed to make scratches from heavy use less noticeable, supporting daily operation in demanding commercial kitchens.
What does the Magnetic Power System do on the Hatco Rapide Cuisine induction hob?
The Magnetic Power System is designed to deliver the highest power in its class for commercial foodservice. It transfers induction energy directly into a suitable pan, supporting rapid heat generation and helping operators reduce cooking times during busy service periods.
Can the Hatco Rapide Cuisine induction hob store programmes for repeat dishes?
Yes. User Programmable Presets provide a 3-stage programming mode for creating repeat cooking programmes. This helps operators reproduce established cooking cycles for recurring menu items instead of rebuilding each process from the beginning during every service.
How precisely can operators control the Hatco Rapide Cuisine induction hob?
Its high-resolution colour TFT display shows power, temperature and time controls. Operators can adjust power from 0 to 100%, use temperature control in 1-degree increments and set the timer from 30 seconds to 10 hours. Colour-coded functions and an adaptive control knob support quick or fine adjustments.
Does the Hatco Rapide Cuisine induction hob include a food temperature probe?
Yes. A food temperature probe is included and can regulate power in response to the actual temperature of the food. The hob also uses 4 surface temperature sensors, giving operators more accurate control when consistency is important across repeated batches.
What pan sizes fit the Hatco Rapide Cuisine countertop induction hob?
It accepts induction-ready pans from 4 inches or 102 mm up to 14 inches or 356 mm in diameter. Keeping a suitable pan centred within the cooking-zone pattern allows the hob to detect it and heat correctly.
How does Pan Sense Technology work on the Hatco Rapide Cuisine induction hob?
Pan Sense Technology activates heat only when a suitable induction-ready pan is placed on the cooking surface. Removing the pan stops heat generation automatically; if it is returned within 3 minutes, cooking resumes at the retained setting, otherwise the unit shuts down.
Can the Hatco Rapide Cuisine induction hob cope with hot commercial kitchens?
Yes. Its heavy-duty design can operate in indoor ambient temperatures up to 51°C. Temperature monitoring protects the electronics, and the hob shuts off automatically if overheating occurs, helping it handle demanding commercial kitchen conditions without sacrificing internal protection.
What electrical supply does the Hatco Rapide Cuisine IRNG-PC1-30 induction hob require?
This UK-market model operates at 240V and 3120 W on a single-phase, 13A supply. It is mains-powered and supplied with a fitted BS1363 plug. Connect it to a correctly grounded dedicated circuit rather than sharing the circuit with other appliances.
How should the Hatco Rapide Cuisine countertop induction hob be positioned?
The countertop hob stands on feet and does not have an undershelf. Position all 4 feet securely on a level, suitably strong counter, keep at least 51 mm from combustible materials and leave the side and underside ventilation openings unobstructed. Avoid strong draughts from extraction, air-conditioning ducts or exterior doors.
How should the Hatco Rapide Cuisine induction hob be cleaned?
Switch it off, unplug it and allow it to cool before cleaning. Use non-abrasive cloths and products intended for ceramic-glass surfaces, then keep the unit dry. Do not submerge it, steam-clean it or use a jet spray. The fully sealed top and conformal-coated boards add protection against grease and moisture.
What colour is the Hatco Rapide Cuisine countertop induction hob?
The hob has a silver finish, including its main and secondary colour classification. Its heavy-gauge stainless steel housing gives it a practical commercial appearance suited to visible countertop cooking as well as back-of-house use.
How can I identify the Hatco Rapide Cuisine countertop induction hob when ordering?
The manufacturer is Hatco, the model reference is IRNG-PC1-30 and the Smart UK SKU is DZ803. Using the full model reference helps distinguish this 30-series UK countertop unit from the higher-powered IRNG-PC1-36 and from built-in versions in the same range.
What warranty comes with the Hatco Rapide Cuisine countertop induction hob?
The hob includes a 2-year parts and labour warranty. The same 2-year parts-and-labour period applies to the EIRE warranty information supplied for this product.
