The Robot Coupe BL3 suits catering operations that need to produce soups, veloutés, sauces, coulis, purées and sweet or savoury batters in seconds. It can handle preparations such as pancake, crêpe, waffle and cake batters alongside liquid dishes, making it a versatile production blender.

It has a 3Ltr stainless steel bowl and a maximum working capacity of 2.5Ltr per operation. It supports both small and large batches within that limit; for very small quantities, the ingredients must fully immerse the blade. X-Flow bowl ribs and lid guides improve circulation towards the blades.

The BL3 offers variable speed from 500 to 12600rpm, Start, Stop and Pulse controls, an R-Crush function and a timer display. Pulse provides close control over short processing tasks, while the broad speed range and X-Flow design support fast, fine results. Its motor brake is designed for longer service life.

The blender comes with a 3L stainless steel bowl and lid plus a removable stainless steel 4-blade assembly, so the principal blending components are supplied. The bowl has a main Soft Touch handle and a second grip, while its blade assembly is shaped to maximise the effective mixing volume.

The BL3 incorporates practical design improvements for quieter, cleaner operation. Its no-load sound level is below 70 dB(A), while the watertight, see-through lid has a no-splash safety function and flow guides. A removable cap allows ingredients to be added during blending, and the main Soft Touch handle and second grip improve handling.

Safety systems detect both the jug and lid. The blender will not operate if either component is missing or incorrectly positioned, and the motor stops if the lid is opened or the jug becomes unlocked. The machine should still be stopped before opening the lid, particularly when processing liquids.

Unplug the blender before cleaning and never immerse the motor base; wipe it with a damp cloth or sponge. Remove the sharp blade assembly carefully, clean it separately with a brush and detergent, then rinse and dry it. The other food-contact parts are easily removable and dishwasher-safe, including the jug, while the lid, seal and cap should be washed after every use.

The BL3 measures 215 mm wide x 470 mm deep x 450 mm high. Its narrow 215 mm frontage can help conserve counter width, while buyers should allow for the full 470 mm depth and sufficient clearance above the 450 mm machine for fitting and removing the jug and lid.

This is a 230V, 50Hz single-phase kitchen blender with a plug fitted and supplied. It must be connected to a suitable earthed socket, and the available supply should match the electrical information on the machine’s identification plate before it is switched on.

The Robot Coupe BL3 includes a 1-year parts and labour warranty. Keep the purchase details and follow the operating, cleaning and maintenance instructions, as warranty cover does not normally extend to damage caused by misuse or failure to follow the required procedures.
