The PED700 is one of Roller Grill's countertop electric griddles, with two cooking zones. It is commercial cooking equipment for controlled grilling from a single workstation. Its model and product reference are PED700, it has a silver finish, and it is manufactured in France.

It is suitable for breakfast and lunchtime cooking, including burgers, sausages, bacon, eggs, omelettes, steaks, fish, shellfish, vegetables and onions. The smooth plate provides direct contact with the food, supporting fast grilling and searing across a varied commercial menu.

The PED700 uses a strong 10 mm thick steel cooking plate with a multi-layer hard-enamel coating. Its smooth surface maximises contact between food and the plate, promotes even heat transfer and provides durable, easy-clean, non-stick functionality for busy cooking sessions.

The two zones are independently controlled and each is rated at 3000 W (3 kW). An operator can run one side during quieter periods, use different settings for cooking and holding, or use both zones for maximum output across the plate. This also allows different foods to be managed simultaneously.

Moulded Incoloy heating elements extend across the cooking surface to provide even heat from the centre towards the edges. This arrangement reduces cold areas and supports consistent contact cooking across both zones, whether one side or the complete plate is being used.

Each thermostat and commutator knob switches its zone on and sets its temperature. A green light shows that the griddle is powered, while an orange light remains on during heating and switches off when the selected temperature has been reached. The temperature can then be adjusted for the food.

The PED700 measures 250 mm high, 400 mm wide and 700 mm deep. These external measurements allow buyers to assess the required counter space and plan the surrounding installation clearance while keeping the appliance's ventilation openings unobstructed.

The griddle operates at a nominal 230V and has two 3000 W (3 kW) zones, each rated at 13A per phase. It is a plug-connected model designed to retain 13 amp plug flexibility. Suitable socket capacity, earthing and the requirements of both independently controlled zones should be checked before use.

The included front drawer collects cooking juices, fat and debris draining from the plate. It should remain fitted whenever the griddle is operating and be emptied regularly to prevent overflow. Once removed, it can be cleaned separately and is suitable for dishwasher cleaning.

Disconnect the griddle and direct most fat and cooking juices into the drawer with a wooden spatula. Let the plate cool, then clean it with warm soapy water and a slightly abrasive pad suitable for enamel. Do not cool a hot plate with ice or cold water.

Place it on a flat, heat-resistant surface and leave at least 100 mm between the appliance and a wall or partition. Keep it away from combustible materials, sunlight, frost and humidity, do not obstruct its ventilation openings and connect it to an earthed supply.

The griddle has a silver finish and uses stainless steel in its construction, while the cooking plate itself is 10 mm enamelled steel. It is a countertop model without an undershelf, so any separate stand, storage or support arrangement must be planned independently.

The PED700 includes a 2-year manufacturer's warranty. Avoid sudden thermal shock, unsuitable installation, excessive loads and unauthorised repairs, as these can damage the appliance and affect warranty support. Keep the commercial name, type and serial number available when requesting service.

Turn both control knobs to zero, confirm that the green lights have gone out, allow the griddle to cool and disconnect the power before cleaning. Never immerse the appliance, cables or plugs, and do not use a water jet on the outer case.
