Frequently Asked Questions
Lincat Silverlink 600 Electric Oven V6/D FAQs
Which catering operations is the Lincat Silverlink 600 Electric Oven V6/D designed for?
The Lincat V6/D is a heavy-duty, fan-assisted convection oven for commercial kitchens needing dependable, efficient cooking capacity with reduced cooking times. Its 600 mm-wide Silverlink format also allows a suitably sized countertop unit to be positioned above it, helping create a compact cooking line.
What is the cooking capacity of the Lincat V6/D convection oven?
The oven capacity is 4 x 2/3 GN. It provides 4 shelf positions and comes with 2 shelves, allowing operators to adjust the shelf arrangement for different dishes while retaining the flexibility of the two-thirds GN format.
What temperature range and controls does the Lincat V6/D electric oven have?
The Lincat V6/D operates from 50°C to 250°C and uses manual controls, including a thermostat control knob. An amber indicator remains illuminated while the oven is heating and goes out when the selected temperature has been reached.
Can the Lincat Silverlink 600 V6/D oven run from a standard plug?
Yes. The 3kW, 230V oven operates from a 13A plug and must be connected to a suitable earthed socket. This plug-in arrangement can simplify positioning where an adequate electrical circuit is already available, although installation and electrical suitability should be checked by a competent person.
What are the external and internal dimensions of the Lincat V6/D convection oven?
The external dimensions are 674(H) x 600(W) x 623(D) mm. The oven cavity measures 420(H) x 470(W) x 340(D) mm, giving buyers both the installation footprint and the usable internal space to check against their kitchen layout and cookware.
How easy is the Lincat Silverlink 600 V6/D oven to clean?
The stainless-steel oven has a vitreous-enamelled interior with radiused corners and removable side shelf supports, reducing awkward areas where residue can collect. Isolate it and allow it to cool before cleaning with hot water and detergent. Avoid abrasive or chlorine-based cleaners and do not use a water jet.
What door features does the Lincat V6/D commercial oven provide?
The V6/D has a single side-opening door with robust hinges and a ball catch for safe, straightforward access. Its double-glazed glass panel makes it easier to view food during cooking without repeatedly opening the oven and releasing heat.
Can the Lincat Silverlink 600 V6/D support a countertop cooking unit?
Yes. The oven can support a suitably sized Silverlink 600 countertop unit, including a boiling top, bain marie, griddle or worktop. It stands on feet and has no integrated undershelf. Fitting a fryer above the oven is not recommended.
What construction and finish does the Lincat V6/D electric oven have?
The V6/D is a silver electric oven with stainless-steel construction and finish. The durable exterior is suited to a commercial cooking line, while its vitreous-enamelled cavity and removable shelf supports are designed to make routine cleaning more manageable.
What warranty comes with the Lincat Silverlink 600 V6/D oven?
The Lincat V6/D includes a 2-year parts and labour warranty. Correct installation, routine cleaning and authorised servicing are important because accidental damage, misuse, neglect, incorrect installation and unauthorised service work fall outside the guarantee conditions.
How should the Lincat V6/D commercial convection oven be installed safely?
The oven must be earthed, level and positioned with its ventilation openings unobstructed. Materials within 100 mm should be non-combustible, and the electrical supply must be adequate. Installation, operation and servicing should be handled by competent people following safe commercial-kitchen practices.
How often should the Lincat Silverlink 600 V6/D oven be serviced?
Routine servicing is recommended every 6 months by a competent engineer. Apart from normal cleaning, service work should be carried out by an authorised agent to support safe, efficient and dependable operation over the oven’s working life.
Could a return of the Lincat Silverlink 600 V6/D oven incur a restocking fee?
Yes. Because of the carriage and handling involved, a returned V6/D may incur a restocking fee of up to 25%. Buyers should therefore confirm the capacity, dimensions, electrical supply and compatibility with any countertop equipment before ordering.
What barcode identifies the Lincat Silverlink 600 Electric Oven V6/D?
The Lincat Silverlink 600 Electric Oven V6/D has barcode 5056105100201 and manufacturer reference V6/D. It is supplied as a pack quantity of 1, helping purchasing teams match the correct Lincat oven to an order or delivery.
